I had a procedure this morning with Dr. Nandi at the Surgical Centers of Michigan located on Investment Drive. Dr. Nandi as always was the most professional and caring doctor that I have encountered.
But, what impressed me was the staff in the office. The TEAM (receptionist, the nurse who checked me and made me ready for the procedure, Anesthesiologist and nurse in the procedure room, the recovery room nurse, the PA who called me later in the day to check-up on me) showed me such care and compassion. It made me feel as if I was the most important patient that they would encounter.
It is obvious that these professionals love what they are doing. They love helping others. That made all the difference to me.

When an appointment is needed I can always get in to see someone in a reasonable time. When the appointment is with the PA I know they will consult with Dr. Wille. Dr. Wille will be available for a follow up appointment in a timely manner if needed.

I was weighed and the taken to an exam room promptly where BP and temp were taken. Dr. Wille came in shortly after and I was on my way home 20 minutes after my appointment time. Dr. Wille explained test results, discussed my situation, and ordered additional testing, and did not rush me at all.

Very good experience from the moment we walked in until we left. The check in was easy, waiting time minimal, nurses and doctor were pleasant and gave clear discharge instructions and kept me informed throughout the procedure. I highly recommend the place.

My husband saw a physician assistant, Jennifer, who was enormously helpful and understanding. Some of the issues we were having, she referred to Patricia Brown, who phoned us almost as soon as we got home. As my husband said, “they are really on top of their game.”

My doctor is awesome. I refuse to put his name on a bad review. Over the years, the staff just keeps getting worse and worse. I was supposed to schedule an EGD for my continuous nausea and vomiting, but it turns out I had an outstanding bill that already went to collections. Admittedly, I do not open my mail, but anytime I visit, I ask if I have an open balance, because I'd pay. I asked back in November, when I had a colonoscopy, if I had a balance at the time. The answer was NO, $0 balance. When I went to schedule they said because my deductible is not met, the procedure would be $680 without biopsies and I'd have to pay my previous balance of $500 that they already sent to collections, and then $300 up front for the EGD. My deductible is only $500. I'm incredibly confused. So I've now paid off my balance to the debt collector, but can't afford to get my procedure. Had they told me I had a bill-back in November-I'd have been able to get help now.
I'll still return to see my doctor because I don't hold him responsible for the incompetency of his staff.
Furthermore, why couldn't I just start paying my balance on the new ridiculous bill you were going to charge, which I don't think is fully accurate? Instead I paid off the $432 to collections because I HAD to, they say, before they can schedule me. The outstanding bill, btw, was from Pinnacle anesthesia because apparently anesthesia is not covered for an endoscopic procedure. Weird. I guess I could schedule my endoscopy and we can talk about me staying awake for it? Does that get me a discount?!?

Then, THEN, I call the collections company and I paid my full balance they gave me, but THEN the office says the billing company got the number wrong and I still owe $107 after paying over $400. Again, I HAVE to pay the debt they already sold to collections before they will help. Their mistake is preventing me from getting help. And the collections agency doesn't know what I owe. I'm being held captive by the incompetency of this billing team. I called Monday and still waiting on a call back. It's Friday.

This has happened to me before here, and I paid the bill off at once then too. I actually offer copays, check my balance ANYTIME I've been in the office. Just because you guys are awful at your job and don't bill properly or timely doesn't mean I should have to suffer.

When I asked about my balance in person at my colonoscopy, remember it was $0. I have not been seen since. Yet my bills are from prior to that!

Seriously too, they could've told me my balance before my tele health visit with my doctor. Or the 4 times I scheduled a telehealth this year and got canceled on multiple times by you guys. At ANY point you could have let me know my balance. I also could have opened my mail- I get it- but you could also just be competent at your JOB. I don't get paid for opening my mail. You are getting paid to do your job right.

Dr. Nandi is so understanding, and listened when I explained I think I was having a reaction to a medication I was taking. He is honestly great enough to deal with a couple bad apple staff members. Most of the team is great.

Honestly, I don't even entirely blame the billing staff- I blame their system. The people were nice enough, they just don't know how to get everything figured out due to too many hands in the pot. Just be cautious.

OMG!!! What a fabulous experience for an unpleasant procedure (seriously, the prep for the colonoscopy is the unpleasant part). EVERYONE working there, from reception to nurses, assistants and the doctor were kind and friendly and really professional. This was my 3rd colonoscopy, but this center was the best facility by far. I highly recommend the Center for Digestive Health in Troy, Michigan. Thanks for the great experience!

The only issue is that the communication manager does not handle comms well in either direction. But the center, its doctors etc

Hi I have been a patient of Center for Digestive Health since I was in my mid 20's. I am now in my late 40's now.. I have seen Dr.Donat and a few of the other Dr's in the practice. Dr. Donat has been my primary person. He has been amazing. My problems have been complicated and challenging. I know I have caused him head scratching moments of wondering what the heck is wrong. Yet all thru it his bedside manner has been amazing kind he answers all my questions. He never makes you feel uncomfortable or unimportant. If you have GI issues or need GI help. Go see him. Or anyone of the other staff. The office staff is amazing as well his Medical Assistant Sarah is so thoughtful. Thank you everyone at The Center For Digestive Health For Making what could be an uncomfortable time less difficult.

My experience at the Center for Digestive Health was awesome. Considering what I personally went through preparing for my colonoscopy once I got there everything was so smooth from the receptionist to the woman asking the questions when I got taken back into the room, to the nurses who were watching over me, and Dr Wille who was very kind and caring as they all were. Let me add the nurse who was taking care of me when I woke up how great and wonderful she was to me. Then my wheelchair ride to my car...all went perfectly awesome!

I have had a few of my colonoscopy procedures with the Center for Digestive Health. They have been professional and efficient, providing help along the way getting clearance from my doctor. The whole experience was quick and relatively easy. If you're looking for a gastrointestinal doctor, this is the place to be.

All of the Staff and the Doctor working at the office were very nice. The doctor understood my concern about My Bi Polar meds because of the reaction I had during my recent heart bypass surgery and the time it took to get back to normal again. The doctor came up with several solutions to my fear of having to get the Anastasia while taking my Bi polar meds and suggested a few other solutions to the the Anastasia. The doctor was great in understanding of my fear of going under Anastasia.

Dr Tocco is quick and efficient. Office staff are super friendly and comforting. I was even called in ahead of schedule for procedure! Kudos for that when you aren’t able to eat until after procedure!

I have gerd related post nasal drip. I was down for nearly 5 weeks. Dr Nandi was able to meet me via telephone and the very next day he scheduled a endoscopy. He changed my medication which I have been taking for the last 4 days. Have found significant relief from my symptoms. Although the post nasal drip still continues albeit with less intensity.

Went here for a colonoscopy and from check-in to check-out it was a good experience. All the staff I encountered were friendly. Dr Quallich did my procedure. As always - the prep is worse than the procedure! I will definitely go back for other necessary procedures.

I have had really bad experiences with Gastroenterologists in the past due to my history with bulimia nervosa. I have complications from years of my illness, and have been turned down by Gastros in the past or them downplaying my symptoms. I was really anxious going into this appt with Dr. Richard Wille, however I had the best experience ever! He listened to me, didnt make me feel bad about my history, and developed a plan to figure out what's going on. I never make reviews, however, I am just so grateful to have found a doctor who actually cares and listens to their patients. I definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a gastroenterologist!

The staff at the front desk AND the checkout area were awesome! Nolan, was extra helpful in that he printed out my Visit Summary & mailed it to me! I changed to Dr Willy because I wasn't getting any progress from my previous Dr. Things aren't going any differently here. He wants to schedule more tests that I've already had on more than one occasion. I had 17 ERCPs in 3 years with my previous DR. and now he wants another. I did the colonoscopy and EUS 2 years ago with Dr Willey. He said to make sure he didn't miss anything. If he missed something I don't want him as my Dr.!

Dr. Bologna reviewed my medical history and discussed my current situation. His care, compassion and willingness to do lab tests before any invasive procedures was refreshing. I have complete confidence in his ability to address my current issue.

Center for Digestive Health is a perfect place to go if you have any type of digestive issue. They make you feel very comfortable talking about any issue you may be experiencing and they ask all the appropriate questions all the while putting you at ease. When I called I was worried about something and they worked to get me right in. I saw the PA Noelle and she is just wonderful. Everyone at the desk and beyond are very welcoming and helpful. Dr. Weber has been my doctor there for years and I trust him explicitly. His assistant Debbie always helps me out and listens to me and is always very kind. The office is warm, clean and inviting. There are a few locations and so that makes it very nice. All in all I’m very impressed with this group of Doctors, Nurses and Assistants.

If it is possible to say, I had a great experience with the entire team when I had my procedure. Due to a bad experience in the past at another medical facility I was terrified to have anything done, but from start to finish they all treated me with kindness, caring, and complete professionalism that made me extremely comfortable both during and after the entire process. I can imagine that the medical profession is very demanding and I've been in offices where the Dr's have been short and barely stay in the room 2 minutes and I'm left with more questions than I walked in with but not with Dr Webber, I was the last appointment of the day and I'm sure he was ready for his day to be over but he stayed in there and answered every question that I had and was so kind and caring.
