She even discussed research related to a medication I was concerned about taking long-term and did so in a way that was easy to understand. Dr. Donat removed a bile duct stone from my liver for me. He is a consummate professional. Outstanding bedside manner. He and his staff are an extremely well oiled machine. I was in and out of the operating room within an hour. My pain was gone.

Dr Tocco is a skilled and professional doctor. He has successfully corrected a few medical issues that have caused miserable problems for me for awhile before I became his patient. Also, I am deaf and he is respectful when he interacts with me and is not impatient. I trust him with my health (and my life) and recommend him to anyone who wants a doctor who is intelligent and knowledgeable in his field. In addition, his staff both in his office and the people who work with him during procedures - they are kind, compassionate, and focused on making my interaction with them efficient and comfortable.

This review is long overdue. I feel as though I owe the positive changes in my health to Dr Wille. While I knew something was wrong, many doctors failed to figure out exactly what was causing the issues. Dr Wille was not only knowledgeable, he was compassionate…and he listened. He just had a way about him, I wish every doctor had this same bed side manner. He made me feel confident that we would figure it out…and I am finally starting to feel like my old self. Excellent treatment follow up colonoscopy

Dr. Weber is an exceptional physician. He listens very carefully to his patients and always considers their their words when treating the whole patient. I went to Dr. Weber after I became increasingly frustrated with my other GI docs. He has improved my condition tremendously with a little out of the box thinking after the other standard treatments I tried didn’t work. He is so kind and smart, two things I look for in a doctor.

The experience was great. No waiting time and Dr. Weber and his staff were very pleasant. All in all a very nice experience. I would highly recommend them.

This was the first time I went to see Dr. Bologna for a routine colonoscopy ( the first one in 10 years) and the first one not in a hospital. The overnight prep was much easier than I remembered, and it was much more personal coming to a treatment center office. The staff seemed very well trained and friendly, and worked hard to put me at ease.

Have had life long gastro flair ups which have at times, impacted the quality of my life. So I made an appointment with Dr Donat to hopefully get a diagnosis and treatment plan to improve my life. He recommended testing and after the results, he gave me a plan of action to hopefully set me on a path to feeling better. I have only been seeing him for a few months but he has given me more information and action steps that doctors I have seen in the past. I am planning on staying with him for any of my gastro issues.

He is efficient and to the point. He did a nice job listening to my symptoms and ordering a sensible test that proved positive. Treatment is ongoing, but on the right path.

Appointment started on time and was completed in 15 minutes. Was very satisfied with my talk with the Dr. Wille. 👍😊

I was going through lots of pain and discomfort and my previous doctor waiting period to see him was very long plus I did not get relief from my symptoms for many years.
I am very happy that I went to Dr Weber. He took an immediate action and took care of my problems very fast. He care about his patient and follow up with them by calling and checking on them. I have Crohn’s disease among other things so it’s very important to know you have a Dr. and he’s staff that know how important it is for you to have and get an appointment sometimes ASAP. I never have to worry about my medicine being at the pharmacy. In all the yrs I have been going to him I have never had to call more then one time for an appointment, medication or advice.

Blood Draw was quick & efficient once we got to it, so that's where the 5 Stars come from.
However, I had to read through a 17 page Research Study document (which could have been sent in advance), then sign the paperwork in what appeared to be an examination room in one building, and then, strangely, had to walk across the parking lot drive to a second building for the blood draw....? Seemed like all could have been done in one building or the other. (The second building had a regular waiting room like any other doctor's office.)

All have very good communicative skills with patients which is a huge plus.

Dr. Bakken did 2 procedures (colonoscopies) 5 years apart. Each one was done with very well. I had no issues and she is a fantastic doctor.

The prep for my colonoscopy was reasonable, the scheduling was good, the staff was very efficient, courteous, and knowledgeable. The procedure went fast and precise. Dr. Quallich came in directly after the procedure and explained the results and answered all questions completely. Only complaint was the waiting room was being remodeled and it was crowded, noisy, and drafty.

I hate going to the doctors for anything, and often feel rushed through and dismissed. Dr Wille came in the room with the most welcoming demeanor, and even shook my hand! I felt I had his full attention the entire appointment which makes me trust his game plan for my health moving forward since I know I was actually listened to. Hi I have been a patient of Center for Digestive Health since I was in my mid 20's. I am now in my late 40's now.. I have seen Dr.Donat and a few of the other Dr's in the practice. Dr. Donat has been my primary person. He has been amazing. My problems have been complicated and challenging. I know I have caused him head scratching moments of wondering what the heck is wrong. Yet all thru it his bedside manner has been amazing kind he answers all my questions. He never makes you feel uncomfortable or unimportant. If you have GI issues or need GI help. Go see him. I received a call 5 days prior to my appointment that I was responsible for 800 dollars for EGD procedure that was due the next day. I had this appointment for over a month before. This gave me little time to research the procedure with my insurance and personal doctor..My actual visit to the office was great. Staff was kind and helpful. I have had really bad experiences with Gastroenterologists in the past due to my history with bulimia nervosa. I have complications from years of my illness, and have been turned down by Gastros in the past or them downplaying my symptoms. I was really anxious going into this appt with Dr. Richard Wille, however I had the best experience ever! He listened to me, didnt make me feel bad about my history, and developed a plan to figure out what's going on. I never make reviews, however, I am just so grateful to have found a doctor who actually cares and listens to their patients. I definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a gastroenterologist!

Dr. Bologna was excellent in all areas. On time, listened, treated me like an adult, figured out the issue, told me what to do & it was resolved in 1 week. My former GI Specialist had 9 months & got nowhere. Also, the support team was top-notch, scheduler through anesthesia. That's very very rare.

When an appointment is needed I can always get in to see someone in a reasonable time. When the appointment is with the PA I know they will consult with Dr. Wille. Dr. Wille will be available for a follow up appointment in a timely manner if needed.

Jill is so friendly and helpful and explains everything before doctor comes in. She even did research on my records before hand to get to know me to be prepared to share with doctor. And she explained that doctor was still at hospital so it may be a bit of a wait. It wasn't long at all.

I had a procedure this morning with Dr. Nandi at the Surgical Centers of Michigan located on Investment Drive. Dr. Nandi as always was the most professional and caring doctor that I have encountered.
But, what impressed me was the staff in the office. The TEAM (receptionist, the nurse who checked me and made me ready for the procedure, Anesthesiologist and nurse in the procedure room, the recovery room nurse, the PA who called me later in the day to check-up on me) showed me such care and compassion. It made me feel as if I was the most important patient that they would encounter.
It is obvious that these professionals love what they are doing. They love helping others. That made all the difference to me.

I have been seeing Dr. Leonard Quallich III, MD for a number of years and have always been treated with dignity and respect. I never feel like a just a number when it comes to an office visit or getting a test done. Dr Quallich goes out of his way to explain what test need to be done and when they are completed he is always their to thoroughly explain the results. I would highly recommend Dr. Quallich to anyone that is a great gastroenterologist.

The office was nice enough to call me to arrive earlier than my appointment time as there were cancellations. The staff and Dr. Bakken were warm and friendly. My doctor is awesome. I refuse to put his name on a bad review. Over the years, the staff just keeps getting worse and worse. I was supposed to schedule an EGD for my continuous nausea and vomiting, but it turns out I had an outstanding bill that already went to collections. Admittedly, I do not open my mail, but anytime I visit, I ask if I have an open balance, because I'd pay. I asked back in November, when I had a colonoscopy, if I had a balance at the time. The answer was NO, $0 balance. When I went to schedule they said because my deductible is not met, the procedure would be $680 without biopsies and I'd have to pay my previous balance of $500 that they already sent to collections, and then $300 up front for the EGD. My deductible is only $500. I'm incredibly confused. So I've now paid off my balance to the debt collector, but can't afford to get my procedure. Had they told me I had a bill-back in November-I'd have been able to get help now.
I'll still return to see my doctor because I don't hold him responsible for the incompetency of his staff.
Furthermore, why couldn't I just start paying my balance on the new ridiculous bill you were going to charge, which I don't think is fully accurate? Instead I paid off the $432 to collections because I HAD to, they say, before they can schedule me. The outstanding bill, btw, was from Pinnacle anesthesia because apparently anesthesia is not covered for an endoscopic procedure. Weird. I guess I could schedule my endoscopy and we can talk about me staying awake for it? Does that get me a discount?!?

Then, THEN, I call the collections company and I paid my full balance they gave me, but THEN the office says the billing company got the number wrong and I still owe $107 after paying over $400. Again, I HAVE to pay the debt they already sold to collections before they will help. Their mistake is preventing me from getting help. And the collections agency doesn't know what I owe. I'm being held captive by the incompetency of this billing team. I called Monday and still waiting on a call back. It's Friday.

This has happened to me before here, and I paid the bill off at once then too. I actually offer copays, check my balance ANYTIME I've been in the office. Just because you guys are awful at your job and don't bill properly or timely doesn't mean I should have to suffer.

When I asked about my balance in person at my colonoscopy, remember it was $0. I have not been seen since. Yet my bills are from prior to that!

Seriously too, they could've told me my balance before my tele health visit with my doctor. Or the 4 times I scheduled a telehealth this year and got canceled on multiple times by you guys. At ANY point you could have let me know my balance. I also could have opened my mail- I get it- but you could also just be competent at your JOB. I don't get paid for opening my mail. You are getting paid to do your job right.

Dr. Nandi is so understanding, and listened when I explained I think I was having a reaction to a medication I was taking. He is honestly great enough to deal with a couple bad apple staff members. Most of the team is great.

Honestly, I don't even entirely blame the billing staff- I blame their system. The people were nice enough, they just don't know how to get everything figured out due to too many hands in the pot. Just be cautious.

Dr. Weber is a really nice guy and the entire staff are very attentive and friendly!

I liked the location. My Primary Care, Dr. Buchanan is located in the same bldg. An easy trip to get to! I was assisted right away and the PA was most pleasant and very easy to talk to. She listened well. Asked great questions and made some suggestions. She recommended requesting a couple of tests to help diagnose my situation. I felt she did a throughal job of listening and answering my concerns and thoughts.

I just had second colonoscopy with Dr. Q. The prep is nowhere close to what people say. Not great, sure but not how people make it out to be! I'll tell you what.....getting my first-ever colonoscopy was easier than I could have ever imagined. I have dreaded this procedure for the last several years because many people have made it sound like it's the worst thing ever. Yes, the prep is nothing fun, but not anything worse than I had anticipated. After that, Dr. Quallich and his staff made me feel as comfortable as can be, and everything, including the procedure, went as discussed. The rest of my day, I felt as normal as can be. Thank you, Dr. Quallich and staff, for being so friendly and turning something I wasn't looking forward to into a great experience.

Ignore the the people giving one stars. Was one of the more pleasurable doctors visits I have ever had. Dr. Bakken was great, asked a lot of questions to get to the bottom of my issues and immediately presented solutions to move forward. More importantly she took ample time visiting with me and I did not feel rushed. I will say getting ahold of an actual person midday at Center For Digestive Health (going through the automated prompts) can be a tedious process but that is not a reflection of Dr. Bakken's competency or professionalism.

I visited Dr. Bologna yesterday at 5:30pm. Even though it was late in the day, Dr. Bologna provided excellent treatment to my symptom, prescribed Ultrasound and lab order for me to follow up. In addition, he suggested a list of high fiber food for my consideration. I really appreciate his excellent service!

The reviews do not sound promising. Does the office call when it is time for 5 yr check up? I had 3 polyps where 2 could have turned in to cancer. I am truly sad to read these reports. I have always bragged to others of her kindness. Tell me she is still the kind person, one who listens to her patients.

Round two! Had my first one three years ago and with family history, having another by Dr. Donat is a no-brainer. Quick. Painless. Worst part is just drinking the large quantity of clear liquids 1-2 days before. Small price to pay to avoid the second leading cause of cancer death.

Dr. Donat has done this procedure thousands of times. Mine lasted 15 minutes. Went perfectly. Don’t wait.

All of the Staff and the Doctor working at the office were very nice. The doctor understood my concern about My Bi Polar meds because of the reaction I had during my recent heart bypass surgery and the time it took to get back to normal again. The doctor came up with several solutions to my fear of having to get the Anastasia while taking my Bi polar meds and suggested a few other solutions to the the Anastasia. The doctor was great in understanding of my fear of going under Anastasia.

The office was further for me to drive, but was glad I was able to see Dr. Willie due to a cancelation. Dr Will is a good doctor that listens and is very thorough.

Everyone there was friendly, professional, and took the time to answer my questions. There was very little wait time and I was taken into the prep area within 10 minutes of arriving. I would highly recommend this facility.

Dr Willie was recommended to me my surgeon by Dr Steven’s. Dr Willie was amazing and went above and beyond for my procedure. I barely had time to even sit down in the waiting room.(very quick and on time.. love that!) His staff was very informative, caring and attentive. They explained the whole process in detail and went over my questions and concerns. He met with me after the procedure to go over what was found and my next steps. I couldn’t have been more happier. I loved the nurse she was so kind and very helpful. They even checked up on me after I went home. Overall I had a Great experience for an overly anxious person that was nervous about the whole procedure. They really put my mind at ease. Thank you again!

Second time going to see Dr Weber for a procedure, him and his staff are very Professional, pleasant and helpful, always a pleasant experience, would highly recommend.

The only issue is that the communication manager does not handle comms well in either direction. But the center, its doctors etc
are worth even that.

I only get to see the doctor for a total of 15 minutes for both colonoscopy. To me she has the greatest bedside manner and always has a great group working with her. I recommend her very highly

I have had a few of my colonoscopy procedures with the Center for Digestive Health. They have been professional and efficient, providing help along the way getting clearance from my doctor. The whole experience was quick and relatively easy. If you're looking for a gastrointestinal doctor, this is the place to be.

I walked in and everyone was so amazingly friendly! Abby made me and my family feel relaxed. My PA (sorry I forgot your name) listened to everything I said! She NEVER blew off anything I described and almost instantly my systems eased when I started the meds she prescribed. Not gone but eased is so much better! I highly recommend going here!!!!! But only if you want to feel better quickly!!!

Great staff and location

The staff is helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable, the facilities are clean with private rooms, and the doctors are the best I've found.

The staff were super friendly. I was late for my appointment by 10 minutes because of a snowstorm and they were very appreciative that I phoned them to let them know. Dr. Donat was very approachable. I will return to the Center for Digestive Health in the future.

The ease of going there compared to a hospital there’s no comparison. The nurse I had was totally amazing. I had a horrible experience with the I’ve cath at hospital 6 times trying kept blowing veins. At the center for digestive health my nurse understood that and talked me down with doing what she needed to do and got the vein on first try. I will definately be doing all possible procedures here.

Oh my goodness, this dr. Is Fantastic! I completely trust my digestive health to her. She is very competent, professional yet compassionate and warm. I would not dream of seeing anyone else...I have been seeing her for several years for several procedures and other issues and I was always treated in a wonderfully healing way... thumbs up and 5 stars for this doc.

Super friendly Physician with great bed side manners. I believe his entire team make him look terrific.

I was weighed and the taken to an exam room promptly where BP and temp were taken. Dr. Wille came in shortly after and I was on my way home 20 minutes after my appointment time. Dr. Wille explained test results, discussed my situation, and ordered additional testing, and did not rush me at all.

Dr Quallich is one of the most caring, honest doctor I have. He always takes the time to really listen as if I was his only patient. He is the first doctor to really diagnose the seriousness of my GI distress and treat accordingly.

Patient focused, makes an unpleasant experience ( colonoscopy) tolerable.

Dr. Weber was originally recommended by my primary care physician because she sees him for her colonoscopes. Can't get a better recommendation than that. I've seen Dr. Weber 3 times now for colonoscopies. Every time he and the nurses and technicians have been friendly and professional. They are very efficient and well prepared. Appointments have always been on time and prep is quick. Following the procedure, Dr. Weber meets with patients in post op and carefully explains any findings. As long as Dr. Weber is practicing I will be using him.

Dr. Bakken is extremely professional, and knowledgeable regarding Celiac disease. She listens carefully to my concerns and is very proactive in providing any help. I feel confident I am in good hands!
