Before landing in Gastroenterology, her career path included Family Practice, Hospital Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine in the Hospital Intensive Care Unit and has been in Gastroenterology since 2005. She thrives on the tough and challenging cases admitted to the hospital.
She is married and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, traveling to new places, running and recently has joined the Pickleball craze.

His staff is also kind and capable. You don’t lay around waiting for things to be taken care of. I found out what was making me miserable and I’m in the process of handling things with his help. No one wants to get a colonoscopy but for people with a family history of colon cancer , there is no choice. I have had colonoscopies in the past but never with Dr Bakken, until this time.
Dr Bakken and her team were kind, helpful and professional from the start. I appreciate the excellent care as getting the scope is always an emotional time for me, reminding me why my mom is no longer here.

Of course I was nervous and thinking that the results would be negative considering my family history. The staff were friendly and helpful. The procedure seemed to take a few seconds! I did get a chuckle when I used the restroom and the first thing I saw was a plunger! Last resort if the preparation didn’t work! LOL! Thanks to the doctor and all of you!

This office is run professional with friendly patient care. My call out to Amy, Nick, Jorden, Nicole, and Dr. Tocco. They all treated me with gentle respectful care. During my prep stage (which is the unpleasant part) I had some questions and called the office. Sherrie answered all of my questions and helped calm an advance middle aged lady down! Appointment was about 40 minutes late, but my experience with the intake crew, Margaret, the technician, and especially Dr Saeed was very confidence inspiring. Because of the calmness that pervaded the appointment it was easier to pay attention to what was required of me post appointment.

Dr Bologna and staff were helpful and friendly. Though the initial appointment call wasnt great: he scheduled me in the afternoon erroneously, and his directions on my diabetes meds conflicted with the followup paperwork -- how much to cut back on or what to cut out completely. But the other staff clarified and corrected all that after a bit of phone tag.

Met with Dr. Bakken for first consultation. I went in with a general idea of what I needed help with. She provided appropriate assessments and consideration to all my needs. She listened and provided thorough explanations to any questions and concerns.
During my checkout, the person who provided me with the paperwork and scheduling my labs was meticulous and thorough in her explanations. I couldn’t stop saying how supported and professional this office was.
Not once did I feel rushed or confused. It is how any medical facility should treat patients and operate. I haven’t gotten the bill yet but for the quality of service from the staff and doctors was beyond satisfactory.
There are follow-ups I will need but I already feel confident that I’m in the right place.

Friendly on the phone, doctor’s office had that same feel, chipper & upbeat. Nurses were professional, speedy & helpful. The doctor I seen was friendly, and delivered good news after the procedure. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience, I would definitely recommend you get in, have that colonoscopy done sooner than later. The technology can save your life, so if you haven’t thought about it, perhaps it’s time. If you have been putting it off, let me be that voice of reason. Set up appointment & be done with it for 10 years.

My appointments are always top notch. An assistant calls me a few days in advance to update my records, so when I speak with the doctor he has all my latest information. The assistants are wonderful and have never failed to get back with me when I have left a message. Appointments always start promptly. Dr. Weber takes great care of me! From the moment I called to schedule my appointment I was treated with respect and with a friendly voice. The Patient Advocate that you sign up for sent daily messages/information for the 7 days prior to my Colonoscopy. The day of my procedure I was checked in a timely manner & all the staff & nurses were friendly and answered all my questions. Dr Tocco came in to talk to me and made be feel comfortable. After recovery the nurse was there when I woke up and Dr Tocco came in and explained the results and made sure all my questions were answered.
