Before landing in Gastroenterology, her career path included Family Practice, Hospital Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine in the Hospital Intensive Care Unit and has been in Gastroenterology since 2005. She thrives on the tough and challenging cases admitted to the hospital.
She is married and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, traveling to new places, running and recently has joined the Pickleball craze.

All of the Staff and the Doctor working at the office were very nice. The doctor understood my concern about My Bi Polar meds because of the reaction I had during my recent heart bypass surgery and the time it took to get back to normal again. The doctor came up with several solutions to my fear of having to get the Anastasia while taking my Bi polar meds and suggested a few other solutions to the the Anastasia. The doctor was great in understanding of my fear of going under Anastasia.

I had a procedure this morning with Dr. Nandi at the Surgical Centers of Michigan located on Investment Drive. Dr. Nandi as always was the most professional and caring doctor that I have encountered.
But, what impressed me was the staff in the office. The TEAM (receptionist, the nurse who checked me and made me ready for the procedure, Anesthesiologist and nurse in the procedure room, the recovery room nurse, the PA who called me later in the day to check-up on me) showed me such care and compassion. I have had really bad experiences with Gastroenterologists in the past due to my history with bulimia nervosa. I have complications from years of my illness, and have been turned down by Gastros in the past or them downplaying my symptoms. I was really anxious going into this appt with Dr. Richard Wille, however I had the best experience ever! He listened to me, didnt make me feel bad about my history, and developed a plan to figure out what's going on. I never make reviews, however, I am just so grateful to have found a doctor who actually cares and listens to their patients. I definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a gastroenterologist!

The ease of going there compared to a hospital there’s no comparison. The nurse I had was totally amazing. I had a horrible experience with the I’ve cath at hospital 6 times trying kept blowing veins. At the center for digestive health my nurse understood that and talked me down with doing what she needed to do and got the vein on first try. I will definately be doing all possible procedures here.

I walked in and everyone was so amazingly friendly! Abby made me and my family feel relaxed. My PA (sorry I forgot your name) listened to everything I said! She NEVER blew off anything I described and almost instantly my systems eased when I started the meds she prescribed. Not gone but eased is so much better! I highly recommend going here!!!!! Hi I have been a patient of Center for Digestive Health since I was in my mid 20's. I am now in my late 40's now.. I have seen Dr.Donat and a few of the other Dr's in the practice. Dr. Donat has been my primary person. He has been amazing. My problems have been complicated and challenging. I know I have caused him head scratching moments of wondering what the heck is wrong. Yet all thru it his bedside manner has been amazing kind he answers all my questions. He never makes you feel uncomfortable or unimportant. If you have GI issues or need GI help. Go see him. Or anyone of the other staff. The office staff is amazing as well his Medical Assistant Sarah is so thoughtful. Thank you everyone at The Center For Digestive Health For Making what could be an uncomfortable time less difficult.

My experience with the CDG Surgical Center was excellent. There had been some confusion in the referral process (not on their part). Once I explained the situation, the doctor and her staff were flexible and quickly adjusted to meet my needs. They were timely, thorough, and polite. I highly recommend Dr. Bakken.

Center for Digestive Health is a perfect place to go if you have any type of digestive issue. They make you feel very comfortable talking about any issue you may be experiencing and they ask all the appropriate questions all the while putting you at ease. When I called I was worried about something and they worked to get me right in. I saw the PA Noelle and she is just wonderful. Everyone at the desk and beyond are very welcoming and helpful. Dr. Weber has been my doctor there for years and I trust him explicitly. His assistant Debbie always helps me out and listens to me and is always very kind. The office is warm, clean and inviting. There are a few locations and so that makes it very nice. All in all I’m very impressed with this group of Doctors, Nurses and Assistants.

However, I had to read through a 17 page Research Study document (which could have been sent in advance), then sign the paperwork in what appeared to be an examination room in one building, and then, strangely, had to walk across the parking lot drive to a second building for the blood draw....? Seemed like all could have been done in one building or the other. (The second building had a regular waiting room like any other doctor's office.)

Jessica Long, NP, was extremely pleasant, efficient, thorough, professional, knowledgeable, informative, & conscientious! She had a number of suggestions for adjusting my treatment that has me feeling hopeful for experiencing less G.I. symptoms! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her highly! The gentleman who brought me in to take my vital signs & edit my Med Profile did not give me his name, nor was he wearing a name tag that I could see. He was not very friendly or personable, but he did his job & I can't really fault him for tha! (He did not, however, look like he was very happy to be at work!) The staff at the front desk AND the checkout area were awesome! Nolan, was extra helpful in that he printed out my Visit Summary & mailed it to me! What a nice favor & such an accommodating, friendly fellow! Thanks very much, Everyone… And keep up the great work! We Patients appreciate everything you do for us!!!

From the moment I walked in the door, everyone was so pleasant & friendly. I knew again that I was in the right place for testing & future treatments. Dr. Richard Willie & his procedure staff is very kind & pleasant as well. I would highly recommend him for any gastrointestinal needs anyone has! Another event end of year 2025 that sent me to the ER & needed a follow up with Dr Wille.
