New Patient Information
The Infusion Centers of Michigan is conveniently located in the Center for Digestive Health’s Rochester Hills Office and Macomb Township Office and in the Digestive Health Institute’s Ramblewood Office.
Prior to your first visit, your physician will prescribe the medication to be infused. This prescription will go directly to the infusion center, where we will coordinate with your insurance. There is no need to stress; we partner with you on the coordination of your care. Once we receive your prescription, we will contact you to schedule your infusion appointment at one of our convenient locations. During your first appointment, you may want to bring a book or tablet with headphones for entertainment. Be prepared to stay a while; the length of your infusion differs by medication.
A registered nurse or licensed paramedic will administer your treatment during your infusion appointment. Our highly skilled and caring staff has more than 100 years of combined medical experience.
For your first appointment, make sure to bring the following with you:
- Driver’s License
- Insurance Card
Amenities
Insurance
Infusion Centers of Michigan participates with many insurance plans. We follow the rules and guidelines of these plans. If you have insurance coverage, please understand that your policy is a contract between you and the insurance company, not the practice and the insurance company. Any charges not covered by an insurance plan are the patient’s responsibility. We will work on your behalf with your insurance company and any specialty pharmacies to assist you in getting the requested treatment. The patient is responsible for providing Infusion Centers of Michigan with your most current insurance coverage, along with other demographic information such as address and phone number. We ask that you bring a copy of your driver’s license and insurance card(s) to each of your visits. It is important that you, as the patient, understand your individual insurance coverage including co-pay, coinsurance, and deductible responsibilities. Not all services are covered benefits under all contracts.
We can offer a cash fee to patients that do not have insurance coverage. Please be advised that the cash fee is only applicable when the charges are paid at the time of service
